Fixed assets register separate from consumable store items.

Who can use this​

  • FINANCE
  • ADMIN

Path​

/finance/stores/assets

Dependencies​

  • Asset records for equipment tracking.
  • Do not confuse with SKU stock items.

Steps​

  1. Open Assets at /finance/stores/assets as FINANCE.
  2. Click Add asset and complete the Add fixed asset dialog fields, then save.
  3. Search assets for audits.
  4. Keep custodians/locations updated when equipment moves.
  5. Use store items for consumables instead of assets.

Common mistakes​

  • Logging chalk as a fixed asset
