Dialog appears when

On student detail, click Deny access. The confirm titled Deny portal access? explains that portal login for that learner will stop working.

Steps

  1. Open Students and open the learner row (student detail).
  2. Confirm the learner has a portal account (the Deny access button is shown only when userId is present).
  3. Click Deny access.
  4. Read Deny portal access? - login with School ID + User ID will no longer work for this learner.
  5. Confirm with Deny access, or cancel to leave access unchanged.
  6. Tell the family offline; do not rely on them discovering denial at the login screen.
